Tim brings 17 years in computer science and software R&D, with a track record of founding and directing technology companies that turn cutting-edge research into commercial products. Before Mutus he led earlier ventures spanning commercial data processing, analysis and visualisation for enterprise clients, and large-scale trading-data systems. Tim holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Liverpool, and works across software architecture, NLP and applied data analysis.

Qing focuses on bringing the company's research and AI capabilities to market responsibly, with a particular emphasis on AI ethics and trustworthy adoption in agriculture. With over a decade of experience across China, Australia and the UK, she bridges AI, ethics and sustainability to shape impactful agricultural technology. At Mutus she leads product strategy for AI-powered tools including Pezego, the company's pest identification and climate-smart management product, ensuring they are accessible, ethical and genuinely useful to farming communities.

Professor of Pervasive Intelligence at the University of Sheffield's School of Computer Science, and Head of the Pervasive Computing Group. Po advises Mutus on the AI and data science behind our precision agriculture work, with research spanning pervasive and mobile computing, smart sensing, sustainable technology and precision agriculture. He is Independent Scientific Advisor to the Alan Turing Institute's BridgeAI programme, has led research funded by InnovateUK, BBSRC and EPSRC, and has published over 180 papers with 8,500+ citations.

Chris brings 35 years of agribusiness and farm management experience, spanning private and corporate mixed farming businesses in the UK and large agroholdings in Ukraine. He spent five years as technical director of a 300,000 ha farming company in Russia, designing and implementing the technical, agronomic and operational strategy — during which the business saw a 100% increase in blended crop yields and a 45% reduction in cost of production. His experience covers grains and oilseeds, potatoes and vegetables, and dairy, beef and pig production. Chris focuses on improving the economic and environmental sustainability of agricultural production businesses through regenerative agriculture practices and technology.
