Accessibility Statement
Site: mutus.co.uk · Last reviewed: 23 May 2026
Mutus Tech Ltd is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA.
How accessible this website is
We believe this website substantially meets WCAG 2.1 AA. Specifically:
- Pages can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or function.
- All non-decorative images include text alternatives.
- Headings are used in a logical order with one
h1per page. - Forms have visible, programmatically-associated labels and meaningful validation messages.
- Colour contrast meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 ratio for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- The site is navigable using keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to content" link on every page.
- The language is set to
en-GBon every page. - Video content (when added) will include captions and transcripts.
Known issues
We are aware of, and will address, the following:
- Some product screenshots have
alt=""text where a longer description would be more useful. Detailed descriptive text is available in the page body near each screenshot. - The Turnstile challenge widget on the contact form is provided by Cloudflare. Its accessibility is governed by Cloudflare; we use the "Managed" mode which is intended to minimise user interaction.
- Long-form data tables on the Trust page do not yet have caption / scope attributes; we will add these in the next polish pass.
What we cannot guarantee
- External documents (PDFs published before May 2026) may not be fully accessible. New PDFs are produced with tags and reading order.
- Embedded third-party content (e.g. social media embeds) is governed by the third party's own accessibility standards.

Alternative formats
If you need information from this site in an alternative format (large print, easy read, audio, braille), please contact us with the page URL and your preferred format. We will respond within 5 working days.
Enforcement procedure
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. Although Mutus Tech is a private company, we hold ourselves to the same standard.
If you are dissatisfied with our response to an accessibility complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
