We specialise in precision agriculture solutions that draw on AI, data analytics and cloud computing. Our products address pest detection, crop-health diagnosis and climate-smart fertiliser optimisation — supporting agricultural efficiency and helping to safeguard the environment.

Mutus Tech emerged from earlier work at Ant Data Limited, after a farm-manager client asked whether AI could help optimise fertiliser use. That question turned into the foundation of what is now the Mutus operating layer. The company name references the Himalayan wild yak (Bos mutus) — chosen to embody the strength and resilience the team sees as central to tools that hold up in real farm conditions.

Our journey

Milestones.

2018-2020

Our founders collaborated with leading agricultural groups and research institutions, laying the groundwork for precision agriculture R&D. Early investment focused on technologies for intelligent pest and fertiliser management.
2021

Mutus Tech founded

Spun off from Ant Data Limited after a farm-manager client asked whether AI could help optimise fertiliser use. Formally established as Mutus Tech Ltd (Companies House 13274475); name references the Himalayan wild yak (Bos mutus).
2022

Two major R&D projects received Innovate UK funding, supporting international research partnerships. The Parallel Farm platform was launched, providing integrated tools for farm management.
2023-2024

AI pest detection model and IPM mobile application launched with farm partners. Climate-Smart Fertiliser consortium project began with UKRI / Innovate UK backing (£710K+ funding award).
2025

Pezego launched on iOS and Android (IEEE IoT Journal 12(23)). DA-Mamba published at IEEE INDIN 2025 and integrated as a Parallel Farm microservice. UK delegation participation at GreenTech 2025, BridgeAI Annual Showcase, IEEE ICIT 2025 and UK–India Agri-Tech Accelerator.
2026

Innovate UK Business Connect published a BridgeAI case study profiling Mutus Tech. Structured evaluation of Pezego under the Alan Turing Institute Scientific Advisor programme showed +15% diagnostic accuracy and −20% processing time.
